MHS THIRD FRIDAY EMAIL 9-21-18
Oh my! The day got away from me and I forgot to send the Friday email. I've included additional information to some of the events below. As always, feel free to contact me if you need more information or clarification. Have a great weekend!!
We do not have student messengers this year. What that means is that to avoid classroom disruption, EMERGENCY messages to students from parents only will be delivered. To reach your student in an EMERGENCY, please dial 923-5200 to speak with the attendance/student service office personnel. This number will be answered by the voice mail system if personnel are temporarily unavailable. Your voice mail message will be received and handled within minutes. No other message, flowers, candy, etc. will be delivered to classrooms. Please make necessary plans and communications with your child before school or via cell phone texts. This includes items you bring to school for your child. These items will always be taken to the attendance office for pick up. That said, if you need:
To excuse your child from school during the school day for that day, call 923-5200.
The after-hours attendance hotline number is 923-5190. This number is available 24/7. Please call each day your student is absent and give detailed information. We encourage you to use the attendance hotline to verify your child's absence including planned absences (doctor and dental appointments, etc.) If a telephone is not available, a written note should be used to excuse the absence. An absence must be cleared within 48 hours or the absence will remain unexcused.
